Tasks

• Creative, artistic, and technical responsibility in all 2D - areas (concept art, mattepainting, compositing) of a VFX production (TV-, feature film- and commercials production)
• Instruction and supervision of the 2d artists
• Developing solutions to create visual effects (if necessary, in cooperation with a team)
• 1st contact for realization, quality control, final acceptance of the VFX-Shots
• Close cooperation with the CG supervisor / 3D in general

Requirements

• Excellent skills in using Nuke, Shake and Photoshop
• Previous experience as a 2D supervisor in international Profound social competence: leading qualities, capability of working in a team, inter-cultural competence, thriving under the pressure of tight deadlines
• Advanced technical understanding
• Excellent knowledge of 2d and 3d technologies
• Basic understanding of a CG pipeline
• Keen eye for picture composition, light- and color design, as well as technical accuracy, excellent ability to judge
• Very good command of the English language
